Great Scope
I wanted to review this for several reasons:

1. Price--I got this at the discovery store for $183.00 dollars shipped! And no its not refurb, used or broke.

2. I read alot about how people cant get these Skyprodigy sets setup. Follow the directions and go to the location and date settings. Use a GPS or google to find your viewing locations lat/long and plug it in. The Skyprodigy uses lat/long in seconds not so take some time and look at the formats.

3. I setup the scope without reading the book and i could'nt see anything with the computer. So, read read read. I set the level on the mount perfect (yes its crucial). Set the lat/long and your timezone and accurate time and presto the scope points to jupiter on demand.

The other sweet thing about the Skyprodigy is if your pointing it manually the computer will tell you what you are looking at. I might get another skyprodigy but a bigger scope.
