Fit and finish is great but....
I purchased this scope (tru-brite 4-16x50) new. It seems pretty good for the money, it has nice features. The glass is clear, the reticle is crisp and the illumination features are very good. It has nice brass turrets with very positive clicks and metal caps. It comes with decent flip-open lense caps.
I took it out to sight in a .243 win. and all the features worked as they should, the adjustable objective works well. I only fired eight shots because it was so rainy and windy. When I got home I noticed a black spot inside the scope. It wasn't there before and when I moved the scope around a couple more spots appeared but went away when I tapped the side of the scope. One of the spots won't go away. I'm pretty sure the paint is flaking off inside and sticking to one of the internal lenses.
I contacted TruGlo and they responded immediately with return/warranty info. So I'm sending it in and probably selling the replacement. My hat's off to TruGlo for their customer service,...

Great product would highly recommend. I will say it was way bigger then i expected and is a little heavy on my rifle but still sick looking!

Awesome scope for the price.I have it mounted on my 444 and it is just perfect.Love the lighted reticules. it is really great that I have a choice in colors, red or green, and that the colors can be dialed up or down in brightness.Seems to be well made with good optical clearity.For a lower priced scope I am impressed.

For the money....not bad
I got this for under 220 bucks, I saw the one with Mattebox, but honestly that Mattebox is crap. the rods are a little shorter than I'd like, but you can buy longer rods. Handles aren't really that comfortable. I've attached this to my COWBOY studio shoulder support (cheap 28 support, that is amazing) so now my shoulder rig is pretty legit. I've added a articulating arm for a monitor, mounted LED lights and AudioTechnica shotgun mic. Can't really beat the price!!!! I've used 1000 redrock rigs, that work the same.

Just Awesome!
I use this on my T2i and it is a dream for filming! It makes everything so much easier. The parts are very well made and sturdy. The handles are comfortable and offer a lot of control. The follow focus works great on any lens and is very helpful. Overall this is a great tool for filming.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I have collected too many slides over 60 years and despaired of ever digitizing them. Although this takes a good bit of time it does do a good job. The copies are not as good as my local photo shop does, but it is better than having to pay what they have to charge. The resolution seems OK. I have to be selective about what I choose to copy because of the time it takes.

Just what I wanted!
This did just what I wanted. I was able to put my parents old slides on a SD card and then on a disc. We had so much fun looking at them. This product was easy to use even for me.

The window to view the pics is way to small but I think as soon as we get the pics downloaded it will be ok just takes a lot of time to do with only one bracket

Great Product For On-The-Go
I own the big Neat Scanner and purchased and set this product up for a friend because it comes with the Nuance PDF Converter software that also supports the Neat Scanner.

This product installs much more easily than the lower model, the Xerox Travel Scanner 100. A few software adjustments will make a great difference in how it will work for you. For the best results, I suggest you follow this procedure:

After loading the software, with the Scanner attached to your computer by the USB cable, stick a piece of paper into the scanner and let it feed. If the letters "OT" appear in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop, click on it. Otherwise, it may spontaneously open a tiny window for "VRS Xerox Travel Scanner 100" in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.

Everything as marketed. binocular case strap clasp broke as I was attaching it - a minor matter and not worth sending back. Very clear field of view.

Like them a lot.
So far they seem to be quite nice. Clear and bright. We do not have a great deal of experience with binoculars so we really do not have much to compare them with. What we have done though is take these moderately priced glasses and had them precision collimated. The optical repair company we use, Advance Optical and Instruments in San Antonio, suggested Barska as a reasonably priced binocular. They seem to be making "pretty reasonable glass". Others with much more experience have said that precision collimating is helpful because factory tolerances for most binoculars leaves something to be desired. Seems worthwhile.

Get this and you'll understand why it's the best in its class
I'm a semi-pro and been shooting since the late-70's. It's been said "it's not the gear but how you use it", and is still very true today. However, gear does have it's place, and when it comes to tripods I wish I had obtained uncompromising ideals far sooner than I did (would have saved a ton of shots, not to mention $$).

You often hear "you get what you pay for". When it comes to camera supports that couldn't be more spot-on. Now you certainly can purchase another brand that's cheaper and get some acceptable results, but you won't achieve the overall consistent performance and longevity with your supports if you go with a less than upper-end brand. I've used several Manfrotto/Bogen tripods (aluminum), and in recent years migrated to Induro Carbon Fibre (CF tripods), and I still have my Induro CT214 & CT414. The latter performs pretty well for long lens work (that's the only reason you'd get a Carbon Tripod weighing over 6 pounds -- although it will certainly work...

So glad I saved up and bought this tripod. Well worth the investment. Extremely sturdy build and extremely light. Combine that with the fact you can add a 100 or 75mm bowl attachment and the tripod becomes an even better deal! With a support rating of up to 55 lbs I know it will safely hold my rigged out BMCC.

Great for DSLR with 70-200 2.8 attached
I researched many, many bags before deciding on this one. One of the things I wanted in addition to high quality was not only a zippered flip-top but also a quick release latch. When I am at a horse show and taking my camera in and out, I don't want to mess with a zipper every time! I ordered this bag and the Lowepro Toploader Pro 75W so I could compare. High quality DSLR bag
This is my initial impression of the Vanguard Outlawz 16z bag. It definitely feels like a very tough and durable bag that should protect your DSLR and attached lens while carrying it around. This is not a flimsy bag. It is well padded. There is padding all around and on the top cover and bottom part. There are small zippered pouches on the left, right and front of the bag to store other small items like filters, lens caps or cleaning accesories. The left pouch is actually a flip out pouch that can hold a small drink bottle. The top cover has a concealed pull out rain cover as well. As far as holding the camera, I have a Nikon D7000 with a battery grip and 2 lenses I normally use. The Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 and a Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 which is the same size as Sigma's 70-200mm f/2.8. Great Over the Shoulder bag for Mega-Zoom Cameras
This bag works as advertised and is very high quality! The seem to have thought it out very well. For instance it has a carry handle which pushes out of the way so you can access your camera easily through zippers that zip away from your body. Zippers take to long you say, they provide a quick release latch you can use instead. Weather changes, it has a hidden rain cover. The camera is suspended insid e- lens down - so the lens doesn't reach the bottom of the bag. It also included a long shoulder strap and the bottom has an around the thigh strap for sercure carry when the going gets rough. You can also run your waist belt through it and carry without any straps if you choose! You can remove both these straps and attach the optional chest carry, so instead of a backpack, its a frontpack! The only negative, and its a minor one is that it is on the heavy side.
