The Minox Comfort Bridge BL 8x44 BR is a superbly crafted Binocular designed for comfort and handling. The open Comfort Bridge design gives the ability to fully wrap your hand around the body tubes which allows for stable one-handed observation. The "L" in the name stands for "light weight." This binocular weighs in at a mere 26 oz.; much less than other binoculars of the same size. At the heart of the innovative optical system is the optimized 44mm front lenses, backed by phase coated roof prisms and M multi-layer coatings. This provides for bright, color perfect, pin sharp images even under challenging lighting conditions. Finding your target is now even easier as the German engineers have increased the field of view by 16% over our previous model. This 8x44 delivers a panoramic view of 410 feet at 1000 yards. This viewing is complimented by the long eye relief and twist adjustable eye-cups that insure stunning full field images, even when wearing glasses. Ruggedly Minox - The space age polycarbonate body is fully encased in a shock dampening non slip rubber armoring. Internal fogging is eliminated by nitrogen purging and the entire optical system is sealed for waterproof performance to a depth of 16 ½ feet.

Minox 8x44 binoculars
I had bought a pair of Vortex diamondbacks because of rave reviews but had to send them back, they were not worth $5 bucks. So I had less than high hopes for the Minox, just not wanting to be disappointed. Boy they are great, far exceeding my expectations. Clear and bright, easy to focus and use. The eye pieces work great and they just feel like quality all around. If I have any gripe it is the carrying case, It is just too small and the buckle does not want to snap shut. For this kind of money they could have done a better job, but overall this is a small consideration. I would highly recommend these binos!!!
