Overview:
The S3200 has a DSLR style body that is very comfortable to hold on to. This camera has a 14MP CCD sensor, an excellent 24x zoom(24-576mm equivalent on a 35mm camera), A very nice 3" LCD, Electronic Viewfinder, 720p video and ISO up to 6400(not that you really want to use it, more on that later)
Ergonomics / Ease of Use:
The menu system on the Finepix cameras are very nice and the buttons on the S3200 are nicely placed. It has a nice grip around the lens and it would have been nice if that could have been incorporated as a zoom ring.
Image Quality:
From ISO 64-200, the pictures are very sharp with excellent color. From ISO 400-800, the pictures are still sharp with nice color but signs of noise and the effects of noise reduction are noticeable if you start to pixel peep. I would say these shots certainly are still capable of being printed at 5x7 and being used on the web with no issues.

Wanna be photographer
Just got this camera wanted to upgrade from my point and shoot but wasn't ready to take the step to DSLR since I have absolutely NO experience with cameras other than turning them on and pointing them at the subject I'm interested in photographing and pushing a button. So I was searching something that had the options of me setting aperture and shutter speed when and if I eventually figure out how to use that option but still gave me an option of just pointing and shooting which is what I do best. I also was looking for something in my price range. This camera fit all these and more and I gotta tell ya I'm not let down one bit. This is a great camera for those like me that wish they knew what they were doing when it comes to photography. It has many tools to help you frame that perfect picture, get the lighting right etc. I can't wait to travel more with this camera especially with the panorama mode. I bought it as a package deal through a BJs club membership with memory card...
Very nice camera
Just received this camera and was looking for one with a nice zoom and view finder for an upcoming trip.
The zoom is great for this price range. You can use the view finder or the nice sizable screen. I find the view finder much easier in centering my subjects. I enjoyed the 4-AA batteries and gives me the assurance my camera won't die without having to recharge a lithium type battery.
The size is manageable. You cannot stick it in your pocket naturally but it is not really that bulky.
In my limited use, the clarity of photos have been nothing short of perfect clear shots. I'm still learning all the features packed in this well priced camera and look forward to seeing what all it can really do.
I'm not a big camera buff. I found the camera quite easy to use though had a little trouble in the on/off switch. I was holding it over too long and learned it takes just a quick flip to start it.
