Solid Bracket
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the CB Junior. The precision machine work on the bracket is evident, right off the bat and the 3/8" aluminum leaves no doubt it will support the equipment. Local camera shops only carried a leading competitor, so I had no hands on time with the CB Junior. I think the shops are missing out here. Once you see the CB Junior and hold it, in my opinion, there is no comparison.

The offset camera mount allows access to all camera controls on my Canon 40D even with a battery pack. The mount is also tapped for a tripod or plate adaptor.

The flash bar works smoothly with a cam/spring mechanism, which holds the bar securely in either position, yet it is easily flipped from on to the other.

The handgrip is a solid feeling piece of foam, which surrounds a solid handle. It has no play, slipping or rotating at all, as some foam grips do.

I would recommend the CB Junior "kit", which includes the anti-twist bars...

Great bracket!
This is a great quality product, far ahead of the ones I looked at by Stroboframe and few knock-offs. Having the bracket makes a huge difference in my photos.

Pros:
1) It's built strong. It's machined in the USA out of aluminum - no bent tubing here.
2) The handle is offset from the shutter release, so it won't get in your way when shooting. But when you want to use the handle to carry it, it's right there and it's solid and well-padded.
3) The pivot joint (for the flash) is spring-loaded into position, rather than just flopping around like other brackets.
4) Anti-twist plate for the body is simple and works like it should.
5) Compared with the Stroboframe stuff at nearly the same price, this is a bargain.
4) It's a little bulky -- you won't fit it in a small camera bag -- but I find when using it the weight's a non-issue because of the nice handle and the great design.

This is a Very High Quality product!!! These guys did their homework and made a fantastic flash bracket. It even has a kick stand on it so the camera doesn't flop over when you set it down. I'm just an upper end hobby photographer but this can make even the Pro's jealous....
