poor quality!
I couldn't believe it myself but yes, this Manfrotto was poor quality made, it broke after one use without any abuse from my part, luckily I was able to catch it or my mark 2 would be now dead... I hope it was just because mine was a defective exception, because for this price you don't expect to have this kind of problems...

A Big Step UP
I do a lot of video with my DSLR and even a heavy duty (and expensive) camera tripod didn't cut it if there is any breeze at all particularly using a long lense. This tripod is the answer. The hefty contruction and cross members seem to make the difference. Although it's heavy the improved performance makes the difference.

Holga with Good Aim
This was my first Holga, but I've used other plastic cameras. The difference here, is because the TLR, you can actually have some idea of what will be in the final photograph. The only problem I had was the foam used to tension the film rolls kept getting sucked into the roll causing me to have to head to the darkroom in mid-roll (I took them out and only experienced some warping with shots, but I went with it as part of the effect.

Unfortunately, this camera was in a bag with a much more expensive camera that was stolen from my home. That being said, my next medium format will be a higher grade and I will not replace with a Holga... although somewhat amusing as an art camera, I would rather compose my shot with more surety and accuracy. So if you're just wanting a medium format camera for general photography, go with something built a little better.
