Nanuk 930 case
The Nanuk 930 is a great case, especially for photographers on-the-go like myself. I have taken two big trips with this case, and was extremely impressed with its light weight, portable size and durability. It fits my 15" laptop plus accessories, including an external hard drive, quite comfortably. The "powerclaw" latches are easy to use and don't pop open, which adds a sense of security when you're running around carrying multiple cases and equipment. I have been partial to Pelican cases in the past, but the Nanuk 930 is lighter than my Pelican equivalent, and I also prefer the Nanuk's powerclaws to the Pelican's latches. My only complaint is that the Nanuk cases do not fit together quite as well as the Pelican cases when stacked on top of each other, which makes maneuvering and storing the cases a bit more difficult. Fortunately, that is a minimal flaw in comparison to the case's other attributes. I would highly recommend this case to other photographers, especially for extended...

there is no better hard case for camera gear.
The 930 case is solid, perfect size for carry-on-- even on smaller regional planes-- and is better engineered than the "other" cases. The latches are genius: bombproof yet easy to operate. The dividers offer much sturdier protection than the cubed foam if you want to fully load the case. Bigger lenses like a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR or 135mm f2 fit nicely sideways, an 85mm will go in vertically. A Nikon D700 DSLR stands upright but taller bodies like a D3s or D3x will only stand up if the hotshoe presses flush inside the lid, which is bad juju, so best layout will be to put them flat. Overall an excellent value for optimal protection for your expensive gear!

This is my second case by Nanuk. It's tough, water proof, dust proof and shock proof. I use this for all electronic equipment for my company. Highly recommend it for all who needs things protected.

Amazing case, "OK" foam interior
I love this case! I have it configured to hold 2 Canon AE-1's (one a program and one a standard), 8 rolls of film, 10 or 15 filters, 2 50mm lenses, 2 telephoto lenses, 1 macro lens, a flash and a shutter cable with plenty of room to spare. I plan on getting a nice digital camera with a good lens to fill up the remaining area.

My only problem is with the foam interior. It's designed to be easily broken/cut away by being partially serrated. Originally I thought this would be a God send... I wouldn't have to soak it in water and freeze it to be able to cut through... but after I got through most of it, I realized that the serrated edges are easily stressed and start to fall apart. I have a couple of seams where I should've left a little extra space so as not to strain the foam, but this was the first time I've ever had a real case like this. I'm pretty sure I can find some foam glue to fix the areas that are strained of have torn. If you can find something to reinforce...

This case is freakin awesome!! I bought this to store my watch collection. I know it sounds a little excessive to buy a $90, rugged, water proof, hard core case for watches, but my watch collection exceeds $4,000 so I figured what better than to store them in a top-of-the-line protective case. The pick and pull foam works great. Even if I decide at a later date to not store my watches in this case, I can always use it to store probably two handguns comfortably.

The color is so super cool looking. I had a hard time picking which color to buy. I must admit that I am a sucker for the military, olive drab/OD green color so when I found out that Pelican offered this case in this color it was a no-brainer.

The latches on the front are very difficult to open and close. It takes a decent amount of strength just to open it. However, it doesn't bother me at all. If it's going to protect my expensive watch collection, then I want something that is going to be...

Oustanding Cases!
I have been using various sized Pelican cases for well over 10+ years and simply put they are built like tanks. I have traveled extensively with many of my cases and as anyone who flies a lot knows, there is no abuse like airline abuse. The outside of the cases get scuffed up but the cases remain in perfect working order. There are not many cases that can survive years of abuse at the hands of the airlines. My only complaint with pelican cases is in regards to the latches. The design requires a lot of effort to open the latches up and I have banged my knuckles many times opening them up. The good news is that this issue has been addressed with the new pelican cases as they have redesigned the latches making them far easier to open up. So this is no longer even an issue.

You can purchase Pelican cases either with or without the foam insert. I prefer the cases with the foam as the foam is very easy to cut out thus making it extremely easy to design the interior any way you...

I recently purchased a Nanuk 925 case with foam and I could not be more pleased
I recently purchased a Nanuk 925 case with foam and I could not be more pleased. Being that I have been a die hard customer of Pelican for many many years I was very skeptical of what I might be getting myself into. However, after looking at the specs of these cases and style I thought I would give it a try. Well, let me say these cases blow away Pelican. First off the latches are incredibly easy to use and I can open them with one hand. The handle also folds down which I never really thought about until I did it and I was able to fit the case in a storage compartment in my closet. Also the case is simply much better looking. I have invested a lot of energy into making a decent presentation when I show up for a job and these cases just look better and I can stack them! I opted for the case with foam that is basically the same as all the other cases I have ever gotten with foam inserts.
Consider me converted.

Nanuk Case
I often take my camera out on my boat during the summer months and needed a case that could withstand the water and moisture on a daily bases. While at my local Camera store I ran across the Nanuk cases. You might wonder why I did not go with Pelican, the answer was simple, I broke my nail trying to latch the case. Really! The case has worked out perfect and the latches are a dream.

Great case!
I believe this case exceeds its rival Pelican! GREAT price! The whole case is very sturdy and the latches are great! I am using this for camera equipment--a camera body, grip, 3 lenses (including a 70-200mm), and Speedlight. In the 925, if laid out right, you can fit those with plenty of padding. I was lucky to get this on the Black Friday event and paid even less! (LUCKY ME!) I would purchase again though at full price. High recommended!
