Works GREAT !!
Everything works great. Would definitely recommend to a friend. This is much easier than having to swap around my most commonly used paper rolls. The brackets are very sturdy, the plastic 'chains' feel fairly cheap, but they work fine.

Great product, terrible instructions
This took about 30x as long as we expected, and several trips to Home Depot. Now that it is up, it's awesome!
Just go ahead and buy some 2x4s and 3" screws at the same time you buy this item, because no matter what, your studs will not be the right distance apart.

this is VERY sturdy!!!
i got this thinking it would be ok but oh my goodness its is so sturdy i have my 3 rolls of seamless up AND my extra roll stored on top of the others. id reccomend this to everyone

Perfect Starter Studio
I looked a lots of the starter studio kits available on numerous outlets and decided on this one via Amazon. I'm glad I did. It is much brighter than other kits which are selling for twice the price. This studio was purchased for the black backdrop, but the chromakey green may come in handy at a later date. I have a better grade of stand for another light, but these are perfectly functional and I expect a long life from everything I got in the kit. The 105W bulbs are great, and really light up the room with the silver umbrellas. Some organza (also Amazon, $2.60/yd for 60") is on its way to me so diffuser/softbox covers can be made for the umbrellas. I also have some white umbrellas if I choose to go even softer. The whole thing set up in half an hour. I recommend it as a good value. What more needs to be said? ;)

I love it, just a little disappointed for the shipping! Wont ship to APO address, backdrop and umbrellas are as described! The bulbs are huge! But for the price it's a good deal!
The storage case is for the backdrop stand, everything else can't be stored in the case!!!

HUGE!
This worked extremely well... I was shooting a music video and needed as big of a green screen as I could find for relatively cheap. Then I came across this monster! This is definitely a huge screen and it worked perfectly! The stands are plenty sturdy to hold up all this fabric and the stands pack away nicely into the included case. However, there isn't any room in the case for the screen which was a little bit of a bummer, but not enough to knock down a star.

when i ordered this from cowboy studio, i was not expecting the quality i recieved. the greenscreen was nice and thick, ive used it quite a bit since owning it. it is top quality stuff, and the stands are lightwieght but extremely sturdy and strong. you would be a fool not to buy this product.

Good stand but green screen not so great
The stand for this product seems good. I say seems because I was sent a used broken stand. I was able to put it together fine, which is super easy, but one of the legs was broken in multiple places. So I had to send it back before I could use it. The case was dirty and had rips and holes in it. The muslin green screen however was WAY too big. I would never be able to wrangle it on my own. Take the image shown for this product and add another 15 feet out from the bottom. Way too much. Plus the wrinkles in the muslin, ugh, they would have never come out. Returning the entire thing and then will purchase just the stand to use paper or vinyl rolls.

Beautiful beautiful backdrop at a great price!!
Love it love it love it. I am looking for more backdrops for my small home studio, and while I am very smitten with Silverlake color smacks, those are only 5x7 and they retail at twice the price of these Westcott backdrops. I love the fact the black is velvet, I think it gives the backdrop a little more depth, and I love the size, as I can shoot full length.

It is very easy to use too, I have monopoles set up in my basement, and I can just toss this over the top of the white vinyl roll I usually have hanging from my monoppoles, and it is so lightweight it doesn't require gaffers tape or anything. It does have a sleeve to slide a rod through, but I need quick change abilities so I don't use it.

I will say it is not as wrinkle free as color smacks, I love the fact there is no WAY to get a wrinkle in the color smacks. Also, it is not a super heavy weight fabric, a little denser than muslin but not as sturdy as canvas. So, if you were hanging it on a portable...

Great price, works ok
I needed a green screen and this fits the need. It did crease a bit in the struggle to get it up on the stand for the first time which won't come out. The roll is very wide (rolled 9ft wide not 6ft) and when it comes off the cardboard tube before secured to the stand it was very heavy and hard to get back up!

Good product but not ideal...yet.
I love the idea of vinyl but there was still a decent amount of glare (even with the matte finish) unless you back the lights way off. It's not a bad buy but light carefully in a large space. The core sucked. It was a glorified wrapping paper roll and collapsed in shipping so rolling it back up wasn't much of an option.

I LOVE the durability. It was nice to walk around on it and not worry about it tearing (paper) or getting dirty (cloth).

The bottom line is if they can improve the core with a heavier grade roll (I might glue mine to pvc) and find a way to bring the glare down they will have a killer product!

This product is really nice!
This doesn't have that many wrinkles in it, it's sturdy and the best of everything it's waterproof. The package was nice and sturdy this was a great buy. I haven't had a chance to take pictures with it yet, but I just put it on the rack. I don't understand why you would pay twice as much for this product this vinyl is pretty thick and sturdy. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT OTHERS SAY NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT IT'S GREAT!!!!
