Great for watching butterflies and close up birds
I bought this for my husband and he then bought me a different pair of binoculars for Xmas.

This pair was reviewed in the Audubon magazine as a good medium price close up binoculars. They do very well closer than 30 feet.

They are nice and lightweight. We can't wait for spring to see how they do with the hummingbirds.

This Kenko 1,4X Teleplus 4 AF Extender (Tele-Converter) for Minolta/Sony is well worth the price. It is extremely sturdy and well engineered , provides excellent Auto Focus capabilities, has fine optical properties, is easy to use and to carry. I have used it successfully with the Tamron 70 - 200mm f/2,8, the Sony 70 - 300mm G, the Sony 500mm f/8 Reflex and a good number of other Alpha mount lenses. I have considerable praise for the properties, qualities and performance of this high quality product.

Economical with average IQ
I bought the Kenko 1.4 converter to extend the range of my Sigma 18-200mm lens mounted on a Sony SLT A33. While the converter worked fine in auto mode the image quality at long focal lengths (200 mm) was somewhat disappointing compared to images shot with the zoom lens alone. That said a prime lens would probably yield better IQ . If one is not pixel peeping or making prints larger than 8"x10" the IQ is adequate and the converter would be a more cost effective alternative to a 300 mm zoom lens.

Very good, although not the best quality glass.
I purchased this TC (Kenko 1.4X Teleplus 4 AF Extender for Minolta/Sony to be used with a Sony Alpha 550 Camera , and 2 telephoto lens: Sigma 70-300mm APO DG and Sony 500mm prime, reflex lens. The reason I'm interested in these combinations is that I do bird photography, so both techniques, approaching birds and a lot of telephoto are needed. I tried it with both lenses HANDHELD, and then I saved the TC (Not using it now). Here are my impressions:

With the Sony 500mm prime lens: the autofocus (AF) is impossible. This is already known, as the lens has a fix aperture of f8, and the manufacturer says the TC works AF only with apertures of f4 or brighter. Manual Focus is very hard with this camera, as the view finder is quite small.(Maybe with a Magnifying Eyepiece it would be more feasible).

With the Sigma 70-300mm: this lens has an aperture of f4-5.6, the TC handles the AF reasonably well, specially when there is good daylight (which is my case in Central...

Great Scope for a Cheap Price
Only reason why its a 4 star is because it took a little reading on how to sight it in using the BDC settings and the screw on end caps are a bit annoying and I replaced with some elastic caps. Once I was driving tacks at 50 yards with my ruger 10/22 I used the BDC settings for 100 yards and hit +-1 inch group without a stand. Cranked it up to 250 yards, used a laser range finder and hit spot on. Have had it mounted for 6 months and the scope and rifle get tossed around and it doesn't have to be realigned one bit. The BDC can work with .22LR 40,38,and 36 grain bullets.

Sweet Indeed!
I bought this scope with low expectations. After all, what could one expect from a $100 dollar Chinese scope? I must admit I was pleaseantly surprised! The quality of the glass is quite good. Very bright and clear with little obvious distortion around the edges. I mounted the scope on a CZ452 military trainer. I had to obtain higher rings so the objective lens would clear the rear iron sight on my rifle, but this will not be an issue for most user. The supplied rings are very sturdy and will be fine. The directions are quite good and I got the scope sighted and the elevation & windage turrets zeroed easily with the included allen wrench. The parallax adjustment knob is fantastic! This is what makes this a great .22 scope. Most scopes have fixed paralax at 100 plus yards. This is fine for centerfire rifles but causes errors at closer .22 ranges. This scope's paralax can be adjusted down to as little as 10 yards out to infinity. This is important for accurate shooting at...

Kit is a good value at the price point.
Package arrived before scheduled date. Contents were well protected and arrived undamaged. I use the 67 mm Polarizer and UV filter on a Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens. I use the 0.43 X Wide Angle lens for close-up shots of flowers. It produces a circular out of focus ring around the subject and is the effect I wanted. I started out shooting this type of photo 30 years ago with a Minolta X700 35mm film camera. Now this same effect can be produced with photo editing software but I prefer not to manipulate my shots with software. I have not used the Neutral Density lens but a quick scan of these lens with a 20X loupe did not reveal any distortions. I would buy from Digital Goja again.

Just like RR Micro
Decent construction, basically RR Micro for half. Filter trays are soft plastic, and don't really hold filters, however - sort of the point, I would think! I had to modify them with a little silicone and cutting to work at all. Cut the right side rods which even still obstruct right side focus pull. Bad design if you ever need to put the FF on the right, but that's the fault of the guys who designed the original for this copy.

Looking for a Matte Box to use with your industry standard 15mm rails? Don't want to shell out an arm and a leg to get it?

With Amazon Prime this is 1/5th the price of competing products that use the same blue and black color scheme. The build quality is great -- particularly for a Chinese clone. Note, there are no assembly instructions in the box and if yours comes like mine did, the mount will be assembled completely upside down requiring you to tear it down and reassemble it. But to me, that's part of the fun of getting something like this. Also note that in the picture above the side flags are installed upside down. (The lip part should be at the top -- as the hooks on the sides that attach to the box itself provide a more secure fit with the lip at the top of side flag.)

Another issue that I've encountered -- though relatively minor -- is the sizing of the donuts which help to prevent light leaks through the back of the box. The issue is...

This Matte Box is built like a tank, apparently the exact same product as RR Micro but way cheaper. I was looking for a Matte Box that would last a long time and that I could use for many years (and cameras) to come, and this piece of equipment definitely fits the bill. I haven't really used the filter holders yet and can't say anything about them; the swing away arm can be a bit difficult to open and I wish it would lock on the other side, but altogether great product and value. Highly recommended!
